An exercise from Storytelling in Sketchbook Skool. This was a real departure for me. I had never drawn anything like this before. It was fun, and I’d like to do more. The drawing is based on a photo I found on the Internet.
One of my husbands favorite pastimes is to visit music stores. Here is the Amp Shop. I chose to go across the street and park myself in a cafe with my soda and my sketchbook. Here is my view.
We took the train into downtown LA, and I took my sketchbook. Here are two drawings from that little day trip.
Here’s the page I did in Gwen’s sketchbook, as part of our Awesome Flying Skechbook project, where about 35 of us have joined together drawing in each other’ sketchbooks and sending them around the world. In a year or so, I should get mine back, full of wonderful artwork from my fantastic friends.
Exciting times! My son and his girlfriend are engaged! We celebrated with this bottle of champagne.
Oh my, it has been quite a while since I last posted here. Time to get caught up and time to move on to 2015.
Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays. This is a copy of an idea I got from someone’s blog, maybe the Frugal Crafter (?). Unfortunately, I looked for a link to the original, and couldn’t find it.
This was fun to do, and really relaxing.
