We are remodeling the outside of our house, including this new patio.
On June 8, I joined sketchbook classmates from all over the world in a virtual sketch crawl. The sketching wasn’t virtual, just the camaraderie among our sketching friends. The idea was to go outside and sketch and then share our drawings on our Facebook group.
I didn’t get too far…just to my back yard, where I drew my little patio.
This is the first drawing I’ve done with my right hand since I broke my wrist. I have to take it slow and easy, but I like the results much better than my left handed sketches, so it’s worth it!
During the summer, Sketchbook Skool Klassmates have continued on while waiting for semester two, by sketching prompts suggested by our fellow Klassmates. This week’s prompt was windows. This isn’t a window, but the door to my back yard.
This was done with my left hand again. Still waiting for my broken wrist to heal.
